The house was built in the mid-1700s. Its building material was obtained from the stones and forests of the surrounding mountains. A blacksmith’s workshop operated for a long time on the ground floor part, built of stone. The living area was located on the upper floor, the material of which was provided by wooden beams.

During the nearly three centuries, certain parts of the house became unsalvageable, so between 2017 and 2018 we completely renovated it. During the renovation, our goal was to preserve the character of the house, matching its past and surroundings.

The building material of the lower floor is still provided by the rocks installed 300 years ago, which we left in their original state in several places in the ground floor apartments.

During the renovation, only natural materials were used, in line with the village’s ECO program. Heating and hot water are provided by bioenergy, and electricity is produced by the local Hydropower Plant.
